Gator A Dog Training

My son has been staying at my house with his dog and has undergone training with Gator A for nearly 3 months and will continue to train. She’s under a year old and therefore was pretty hyper and undisciplined upon arrival. I call her my grand dog. I have owned large dogs myself, and her puppy behavior came as no surprise. Her behavior has dramatically improved and she is very responsive to the commands. She is brilliant and well behaved on walks (won’t even chase rabbits) and has become a pleasure. The key was LISTENING & FOLLOWING the training guidelines for consistency in our dog’s behavior. Dropping the ball at home with schedules for the dog as well as behavior expectations doesn’t do the dog or the trainer any favors. I like how Ashley (the trainer) and my son work together to mold his dog and tap into her potential. And that’s just been puppy training. Onto the next phase… service dog training.

I brought my dog from Germany after being medically retired from the army and was looking for a reliable trainer and someone who really knew what they were doing. I had looked and called around until I found Gator A dog training online. At the time my dog was only a couple of months old and wasn’t very responsive to commands. After just a month with Ashley my dog was obeying commands and her behavior was 100 times better. I continued to work with her as Ashley had instructed me to while she was home with me. She will be a service dog and Ashley has been working with me on that as well. It’s been a few months now and the difference between when I dropped my dog off to now is night and day. I highly recommend Ashley as a trainer and if you listen to her instruction, you will have the best dog anyone can ask for. And to any military or ex military looking for a trainer I would choose Ashley 100 percent over any other trainer. She’s very supportive of our troops and veterans and will work with you and your needs. Couldn’t ask for anyone better.

Ashley had our nine month old German Shepherd puppy, Theo for two months. When Theo came back home he was totally potty trained and more obedient! He learned simple commands and learned how to appropriately walk on a leash too! Theo is now 15 months old and still has retained what Ashley taught him. He’s a better dog because of Ashley’s training. Her love and devotion for animals is very apparent and she loves what she does. I highly recommend her services.
