Genetic Canine

Amanda is literally the dog whisperer. I brought Monty in as an extremely aggressive and unpredictable 2 year old Yorkie. He did not listen to any commands and would bolt any chance he could get. He was very territorial and only was behaved around my parents and myself (sometimes lol). However, after only 6 sessions with Amanda (and we are not done yet), Monty has made unbelievable progress. He obeys commands, as well as listens when called, unlike before we started training. Monty has learned commands such as “come, place, down, ok.” He is only going to get better from here on out. When it comes to dog training, there is literally no one better than Amanda- would recommend her to anyone seeking dog training. Additionally, the facility is so clean and tidy.

We sent our dog here after we were having a tough time training at her home. She did a 2 week board and train on location, and the results have been amazing. Everything that we outlined as concerns were addressed, and our life at home has been substantially better. Wish I could have sent her earlier, and will send any future dogs here ASAP. We came all the way from Westchester, and would do it again for any future training.

I found out about Amanda through a friend who put her dog in puppy training. I had a few issues with my french bulldog when it came to obedience and behavioral. I was at a loss and accepted that it was how he is. However, after speaking with Amanda I felt comfortable enough to do a meet and greet so she can better assess him and his needs. I am extremely attached to my dog so I was nervous to leave him for board and training for 2 weeks but Amanda and her team exceeded my expectations of things I thought he would never be able to do. He really is an entirely different dog in all the best ways. hes obedient, follows commands and I can bring him out in public without having stress or anxiety around it. I highly, highly recommend Genetic Canine, she changed my dog’s life. I live in nassau county and coming to suffolk was no issue because of the indrecible results. I can’t thank Amanda and her team enough!

We have nothing but great things to say about Genetic Canine. The owner, Amanda, runs an excellent puppy program that has really helped our pup, Bruno. We started when he was 10 weeks old, and he has done great. Amanda has taught him many commands, such as down, come, place, and heel, and has helped resolve the leash issues we were experiencing. She is very knowledgeable. Additionally, the facility is very clean. We highly recommend it
