Our family recently got just a little bit bigger with the addition of our Rottweiler Ozzie. Amanda at Genetic K9 came highly recommended. After speaking with Amanda over the phone I knew this was the right fit for our boy. Scheduling was a breeze got our first appointment the very next day. Upon arriving we were welcomed in at our scheduled time and were very impressed with the overall professionalism and cleanliness of the training facility. Over the next hour we were so pleased to watch Ozzie’s progress. Amanda’s training technique have been easy to follow and apply at home. With Amanda’s help over the past 3 weeks we are beginning to see a much more confident Ozzie. We look forward to our training sessions and a much more well rounded dog.

We have been working with Amanda at Genetic Canine since our dog Betty (sheepadoodle) was 8 weeks old, she is now 20 months old, and I highly recommend all of the training we have done to date. At just 8 weeks, Amanda trained us along with Betty to set a foundation to prepare for future training. I am so glad we took Amanda’s advice to start as soon as we got Betty home with us! Once Betty was old enough, we did a board and train with Amanda and upon receiving her back an already attentive pup was rock solid. She can be off-leash and does not leave our side for anything. Amanda has taught us consistency is key and our Betty is an incredible family dog because of it. We also board Betty with Amanda any time we are away because we know she will get the absolute best care and consistency. Betty adores Amanda and is always super excited to see her and perks up as soon as we get close to the parking lot! That speaks volumes in itself! I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. This is our first time using a dog trainer for our dogs. Amanda came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. She took the time to not only train our puppy but to teach us the proper techniques to work on while we were at home. She was always available for questions and very flexible with her scheduling.
