We proudly serve our US Military as well as police agencies throughout the USA and Europe. Our company founder, Jeff Schettler, is the author of five dog training books and considered the world subject matter expert in his field. GAK9 is a family, veteran owned business serving clients since 1995. We have 43 GAK9 trainers in 13 different countries. If there is a dog training issue, GAK9 has a trainer who has dealt with it!

Do you offer board and training? We have a 7 month old rotterman who’s very playful and energetic, excited, and possibly anxious. We also have 5 kids that he nibbles a lot.
Yes they do offer board and training. We were very pleased with our Husky's training. Ask for Chase. He is awesome

How old does my Belgian Malenois need to be for obedience training . Need to be able to control walks. He is semi obedient and very smart 1 plus year old!
They start obedience training at 4 months.

I adopted a foster boxer/ bulldog that had been abused. Can you help her with her anxiety? I've had her a little over a year.
I would think so. They have trained our dogs but we were getting obedience. They are highly qualified and have a super reputation. They love dogs and once you visit, you will not think of going anywhere else.

GA K9 is set in a beautiful, clean outdoor space where the dogs have plenty of room to play, train, and learn how to DOG. I am so thankful my friend referred me to GA K9, I honestly feel there is nothing that they can't handle. Big, small, shy, chicken eater, as long as it is a dog they can work with it. One of my dogs is super confident and climbed as a puppy to be with one of the trainers. The other one, a great dane mix, hid under a car. Both are now doing great. They can follow commands, they can be boarded anywhere, and they enjoy a good romp with other dogs. They have a knack for figuring out what works for each personality and they make things fun. Both of my dogs are healthier, happier and so much better off after working with Chase, Shayne, and the rest of the GA K9 crew. In addition to working with our dogs, they have also made a point to spend time with my daughter to teach her what to do, especially with our surprise Great Dane. I will forever be grateful for their patience and understanding.
As a bloodhound owner, obedience and even walking on a leash can be challenging. Chase and the staff at Georgia K9 were amazing with Lily! I have a dog who is a joy to be around. And I’ve been able to learn from the best as we train for Search and Rescue!

We were lucky enough to find GAK9 years ago for our first Great Dane. She started with puppy preschool and went all the way through all of the training! Years later, when we lost her, Chase had learned of her passing and he reached out and gave us condolences. It meant the world to us. 2 years ago, we were ready for another Dane puppy, and the first call we made was to Chase and Shayne @ GAK9. We again started with puppy preschool and continue with each level. We have recommended GAK9 to multiple families (German Sheppard and Old English Mastiff) who also rave about how wonderful they are! It’s amazing how they are able to train and recognize each individual doggo personality to the full potential. They not only train the doggos, but help the parents/owners learn the correct methods as well (which I suspect is the hardest part) Training at GAK9 is one of the best investments we have ever made with our family!!!
