Get Pawsitive Dog Training

I highly recommend dog training with Sarah! Our puppy, Tango took the kindergarten class and he learned so much. Sarah is very calm and does a great job teaching the dogs (and us)at how to implement positive cues and reinforcement. Love the magic mat, nose to hand target and leash walking skills. Tango also had weekly play time with three other puppies and we learned how important it is to watch the reactions of the pups as they interacted. Thank you Sarah!

Sarah helped us tremendously with our Great Pyrenees. We engaged Sarah because our dog was having trouble on leash when other dogs were passing by. Sarah worked with her and us and now we are able to control her when that happens. Also, we heard many times that we shouldn’t bother with recall with our pyrs because of her breed. Sarah was quick to dispel such myths and worked on recall with her. Just a few weeks ago our pup got away and we could call her back! It’s a huge relief for us to know she will come back in an emergency. I can’t recommend Sarah and her team enough!

I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience with Joanna at Pawsitive! Her gentle and well researched approach has been so helpful for our little puppy and we are so grateful for all her advice! She's thoughtfully answered our many questions and concerns and given us confidence as first time dog owners. Unlike other trainers we have spoken to in the area, Pawsitive teaches POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT techniques, which are safe (unlike outdated and harmful approaches like dominance training or negitive reinforcement)!! Because of this, we are able to build an even better relationship with our puppy and understand his needs! My puppy Dakota and I had the pleasure of training with Sarah, Libby, and Pilar from Get Pawsitive. Each trainer is amazing and we learned extremely important skills from them. I loved how helpful they were if I had any questions. The most important thing for me is that my puppy is having fun and only receiving positive reinforcement, I can say without a doubt that every trainer provided Dakota with both. I learned ways to have fun with my pup and create positive experiences associated with training and more! Dakota and I love Get Pawsitive and are so happy we decided to train with them!
