I'm sure training methods have changed over time and I've gone through many trainers through the years but decided to do some more research for trainers. I really liked that Golan did not use treats or prong collars or other devices as part of his training. We got the 8 session puppy training and I really liked that some of the sessions were at our house but also at parks with lots of dogs and other distractions. I had problems with Kaia pulling on our walks when she saw other dogs so Golan worked with her on not pulling on walks. Golan also worked on recalls, distractions, introductions to other dogs, and other puppy issues. Golan was so good with her, very patient, took time to bond with her to develop trust. Golan is professional, super friendly, always on time and imparted a lot of his knowledge in helping me work with Kaia! Thank you so much Golan! You have the patience of a Saint and we are grateful for all your help! Although her training is still a work in progress, Kaia has improved so much. I highly recommend Golan!

We learned a ton from Golan across behavior modification, leash training, and socialization. We couldn’t be happier with the results and love how much our puppy has grown and matured with the training. I would highly recommend Golan to work with your dog.

Golan Dogs is the ABSOLUTE best! Recently I rescued a 6 month year old puppy who wasn't properly socialized before and had some leash reactivty going on. I went with a different trainer first and the problem only got worse. A friend recommended Golan and in only 4 sessions she's a completely different gal. He was able to easily understand the issue and help us work on resolving it in such a short period and in such a simple productive way. No treats, no special collars, just methods that hadn't been introduced to me by any other trainer I had spoken to. Plus my sweet girl loved him and responded so well to everything we went over. Don't make the same mistake as me and go to someone else first, just go straight to him! I truly can't say enough good things about our experience.
Golan is a true professional. He helped give us the tools/strategies needed to feel more comfortable interacting with dogs with our sheltered, semi-reactive bull terrier. We would highly recommend inquiring with Golan for any of your dog’s needs. We’ll be back with Golan for future sessions as our whole new dog keeps growing.
