Our new facility serves Minnesota’s Iron Range, including Virginia, Hibbing, Eveleth, Gilbert, Mountain Iron, Palo, Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Biwabik, Embarrass, Babbitt, Tower, Ely, and Duluth. We specialize in puppy training, basic manners, obedience, rally, agility, canine good citizen prep, and behavior modification. Online classes, workshops, and webinars are also available through Fenzi Dog Sports Academy. Whether you’re raising a puppy, working on manners, or preparing for competition, we can help!

It's best to start when your dog is a puppy! The important socialization period is from about 3 weeks of age until about 14-16 weeks of age, and it's super important that you properly socialize during this time. Our puppy socialization package gives you that opportunity to socialize and start to train your dog. The manners classes will help your dog learn basic manners and obedience skills.

Love Golden Paws training! Great knowledge trainers. Took my 3 year old australian cattle dog/border collie for a behavior private lesson originally to work on resource guarding around our new puppy. I then took the basic and advanced manners class which was a great refresher for me and my dog. I have loved getting to connect with my dog in a meaningful way! We had so much fun with the classes that we do agility and rally which were new sports for both of us! We don’t plan to compete in the dog sports but is a great way to focus some of my cattle dogs energy and purpose! Highly recommend any of the classes at Golden Paws!

My dog and I have really enjoyed taking classes here. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, the facility is amazing, and it is affordable. We joined the puppy class, and are now in basic manners. I'm learning how to better communicate with my dog and how to teach her.

Duce loves to go puppy training and make friends. He is now in basic manners. The teachers are patient and informational. It is a great place to bring your puppies.

My dog and I have loved training at Golden Paws. All instructors we worked with love to see you and your dog succeed. When my dog was struggling with an exercise they took time with us and even sent us home with a tool to help us succeed!
