FirstBarkCarissa was great with training Boone. I highly recommend her. We are going to miss our weekly trips to Carbondale. Boone has learned so much. He is better around other dogs now and listens much better. If you need your puppy trained she's the one to help you. Thanks Carissa!

Can you give me an idea about the cost of training? Also, when do the classes take place?
All classes are private classes which allows you to get customized classes tailered just to you and your dog. I believe they are $55 for a hour but you will have to call her to confirm price. She has a small place off of giant city Rd. I highly recommend her, we used her for 2 of our dogs with outstanding results.

We adopted a rescue (Kona) a few months back. She was a really good dog but did not listen well. She did not do well walking on a leash, always pulling and doing her own thing. She bolted out doors and jump all over people. It didn’t seem that she responded to our commands. After completing an 8 week course with Carissa our lives are completely changed. Kona knows all the right commands and responds. She no longer bolts out doors or jumps all over people. And not only does she now walk incredibly well on a leash, she goes without a leash all together now when possible. Our Kona went from a good puppy to a great dog. Carissa’s training help change our lives as new dog owners. Money very well spent.
Carissa is extremely talented and knowledgeable at what she does. She took my spoiled 5 year old dog and quickly turned her into a dog who listens and follows sit, stay, come, heel, lay, place and can do them all off leash. I had a great experience working with her and high recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer.
Bringing my 6 month old rescue pup to Golden Standard Canine for the necessities: sit, stay, down, come, place, heel, and listening and watching me. She basically trained me to train my pup, as well as watch us to help with emotional responses - from both of us. Highly recommend.
This place is great. I have a very defiant poodle and the skills we have built here have been amazing. The trainer is very friendly and allowed me to bring my 6 year old daughter when needed. I would defiantly recommend.
