Can you give me an idea about the cost of training? Also, when do the classes take place?
All classes are private classes which allows you to get customized classes tailered just to you and your dog. I believe they are $55 for a hour but you will have to call her to confirm price. She has a small place off of giant city Rd. I highly recommend her, we used her for 2 of our dogs with outstanding results.

Carissa knows her stuff. She is well spoken and very knowledgeable. Her understanding of breeds and dog psychology are top notch. Best trainer I’ve ever worked with.
Carissa came out for onsite training when I wanted to introduce my dog to a perimeter fence with shock collar. Everything went great. My dog trusted her readily, and in about an hour was accustomed to the new system around her yard. It was a very positive experience. I highly recommend Golden Standard Training.

Absolutely an amazing transformation of my canine friend's behavior! We were really worried that we took on more than we could handle with adopting a rescue. Within 5 one-on-one sessions, we have a very different dog. It was somewhat unthinkable that we could make so much progress in such a short amount of time. Carissa provided lesson plans and homework for our dog and we had some great success. Thank you Carissa for an amazing transformation!! I would definitely recommend Golden Standard Canine Training.

Carissa is very skilled at training dogs and helping dog owners learn how to have expectations of their dogs. We signed up for the 8 week program and she worked with both of our corgis, teaching them to interact correctly with one another. She gave us tips and sent lesson reviews by email after each lesson. I especially love that she has made herself available for questions even after the training has finished. I can’t say enough good things about how helpful and encouraging she has been. We didn’t know if our dogs could even be around each other again since they had fought a few times and showed aggression towards each other. By the last lesson, they were running around her backyard doing great with each other. Our dogs loved her. We highly recommend Carissa for any dog training needs you have. Thanks a million Carissa!
