Good Dawg Training LLC

We brought our Cavalier King Charles puppy, Dusty, to Good Dawg Training when he was just 3 months old, and it was such a great experience! I loved that the “Puppy Yappy Hour” sessions gave him a safe place to socialize with other puppies before he was fully vaccinated. The classes were small, so it almost felt like one-on-one attention. Colette is incredibly knowledgeable about positive dog training and takes the time to explain not just what to do, but why it matters. I’ve read a lot and watched tons of videos before the training, but I still learned so much from her — especially about setting up good habits early. We worked on all the puppy basics, leash manners, handling, and distractions. Dusty absolutely loved going every week, and it shows — he’s way more confident now. The facility is clean, organized, and really fun for the dogs. I’d highly recommend Good Dawg Training and Colette to anyone starting their puppy journey!

Colette is absolutely amazing! She clearly loves animals, and brings a wealth of experience in training that emphasizes your canine friend’s sense of felt safety, confidence, and well-being. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome (dogs and humans alike!), and is excellent at communicating the methods and reasoning associated with her training approach. I have learned so much from her, and my puppy LOVES going to Good Dawg! It’s his favorite place in the world to visit—he never wants to leave! Thank you, Colette!!!

Hands down the best trainer I’ve experienced here! I’ve tried three other training classes all around the area including Napa and none of them really fit what I was looking for, for my dog. But after giving this place a try I was blown away by the trainer. She is so knowledgeable and I loved her training space. (There was even a mock vet office to practice if you have nervous dogs) I’m reviewing after my final training session and the improvement my dog (Shiro) experienced was worth every penny. Definitely will be coming back for one of her other training courses!

Collette at Good Dawg is an invaluable trainer. Her methods are kind, effective and fun. My dog was a rescue, knew nothing basically and was very reactive to all other dogs on our walks. Now she is a joy to walk and is getting the idea that other dogs might be fun. She truly enjoyed the training session and the mental stimulation allowed her to chill out wonderfully. We even did some park adventures with Collette and she had her first happy dog park experience. Reactivity is such a big issue for many dogs so we are thrilled to have a good handle on it now. Thanks bunches Collette Mary Jane is a much happier pup!
