I called for the first free session. I talked with Adam on the phone due to COVID-19. Adam was very professional & care for animals. He talked on the phone for 2 hours to gave me all the tips how to train my dog, which is a 11 months old male maltipoo. Adam was very nice & knowledgeable because I took his advice & in a matter of week, we are happy with him. Like other business owners he could tell me, it’s impossible & I had to pay him to train my dog, but instead Adam asked me what I want from my dog to do or not to do. After that he gave me tips for free!! My husband & I are very thankful to you Adam!!! You make a life easier for us & Max!!

Is there an option to give Adam and Good Dog OC 10 stars?! My dog Stella and I started training with Adam less than a month ago and I am already seeing amazing improvements in her that I could’ve only dreamed of! Stella is a very vocal dog who likes to announce anything and everything with barking. She’s very anxious with strangers and doesn’t get along with other dogs. At all. And though she knows tons of tricks, she lacks discipline and only chooses to listen when she wants or if there’s a treat as an incentive. Adam’s training has completely transformed her (and we aren’t even finished yet!!!). The first part of the training is just him and your dog. He makes sure your dog understands the commands and training so, unlike with other trainers, you’re not left with a bunch of new training instructions to practice on your dog that doesn’t know yet what you’re saying or what you want. Once your dog is ready, he teaches you so that you can begin practicing at home with your dog 24/7. The best part about Adam’s method is that he doesn’t use treats to reward your dog! He simply teaches the dog that love and good scritches are all the reward they need for being a good dog. I LOVE this because, previously, Stella’s only incentive for following directions were snacks and that girl was getting CHUNKY. Plus now, she’s even more lovable than before because she ALWAYS wants to be pet and loved. Stella no longer pulls on her leash when we go on walks. She stays right by my side and looks for my direction on where to go next. She no longer reacts to the trash and delivery trucks when they drive by our house (this used to be a whole barking ordeal). And the most impressive change: she doesn’t bark at other dogs/ people on our walks anymore!!! She’s the same lovable dog she always was, but with a lot more discipline. Adam has been great with Stella and I can’t believe we’re not even done with training yet when he’s already met all the expectations I had for Stella prior to training. He is very professional, great with doggos, patient, and knows what he’s doing! I couldn’t recommend Adam & Good Dog OC more. What are you still waiting for? Adam is such a great listener and a great educator. Our consultation blew me away alone! I rambled on for what had to have been at least 30-45 minutes about my two dogs & he listened so attentively the entire time, giving me advice along the way. It felt like he already knew my two dogs so well even after just that 1.5 hour phone call. He provided me tips and advice right off the bat & did an amazing job explaining the pros and cons of various training ideologies. He has an incredible training program & his love and passion for doggos is so admirable.

Going to just say that Adam is a miracle worker. I’ve literally never seen anything like it. We have a Chorkie that would dart out of the house at every chance. If that wasn’t enough, he barked at everything! It was very stressful and we just couldn’t get him to listen. No one in the family was effective training. Then in walks Adam and this dog is like a different dog. It’s been a few months now and he’s still such a good little boy! We follow Adams guidelines and are living such a higher quality of life - and I think our neighbors are too!!!
