Good Dog OC

Adam from Good Dog OC has helped us build such a strong and positive connection with our puppy. We have a Maltipoo and as adorable and fun as he is, he’s very “mouthy” and was having way too much fun nipping at our toes and 5 year old. The constant “no’s” and frustration with controlling his social excitement was wearing us down. Our pup started training with Adam just 1 month ago and we’ve already seen incredible progress with him. Because we aren’t constantly disciplining him we have so much more positive interaction with him, my son and him are bonding more, and my husband is now proud to take him around other people. Making the decision to get dog training was originally for safety for our family and our dog, what we didn’t realize was how much it would strengthen our bond with him! We can’t recommend Good Dog OC’s service enough. Efficient, positive, responsive, and the best decision we’ve made as a new doggie family!

Adam is awesome! Since we are all Quarantined, We have not met Adam personally yet. We have had the pleasure of speaking with him twice, where we gained a wealth of information on how to potty train our new puppy and how to best manage her teething issues. He was both knowledgeable and professional while being very generous with his time and effective in his delivery. Once we are free and out of quarantine will be setting up more training. We Potty trained our puppy in literally three days. By the fourth night she was sleeping through the night from 8:15 to 7:30 AM, and we’ve only had her for a week and a half. Amazing!

I am so grateful to Adam and the entire Good Dog OC team for training my 5 year old rescue Golden Retriever Moose and teaching my entire family how to properly continue the training methods. Before the training, I was constantly switching sidewalks to avoid other dogs on our walks. Now, I can confidently take Moose anywhere without a single issue. My neighbors have even commented several times on the improvements they’ve seen. Moose and the Peterson family are so thankful and highly recommend Good Dog OC to anyone!

We were referred to Good Dog OC and we are so grateful for it. Adam is a very special person. There are many talented trainers out there, but Adam is different. He has a true talent for getting the best results from your pup. He cares and it shows. He never pushes. He is available for constant questions. He is endlessly patient with Gus (& us). We needed a trainer who would train our five month old Goldendoodle but allow him to still be a happy, silly boy. We are very happy with Adam & his team!

Good Dog OC - We we’re referred by friends of ours for our first Great Dane, Kane, to train him on walks to be able to be near other dogs. He walks great on a leash but as a young pup was scared by a couple other dogs. Shortly after we noticed he began to have a lot of drive towards other dogs during our walks and just got worse. With his size we knew we had to figure something out or if we at least wanted to have another pup in our home. We started to train with Adam who taught us ways to respond and how to manage his actions. We have noticed a difference and have been able to bring another dog in our home since, Kona! We drive a distance to train with Adam and the Good Dog OC because he has been so helpful to our family and very patient!
