Good dogs stay

Our puppy Sox is getting ready to graduate from his 12 week training program. The training and tools Misty has given us has made such a difference in Sox and for our family. We forgot how much work having a puppy was and we were at a loss of how to stop his jumping on people, walking him without pulling, getting him to come when we called him and just being crazy sometimes. Sox is such a better pup now. He still has his moments but we have the tools to continue to work with him and be successful puppy parents. My husband didn't want much to do with Sox and was frustrated when Sox was misbehaving or just being a pup who didn't know better but now he will hang out with Sox for hours even when they are the only 2 home. Our home is now safe for my 80 year old mom now that Sox does not jump on her and try to knock her down. She can handle him and even kept him for 5 days alone while we were away. Thank you again Misty for helping us learn with Sox to make our household a better place for all fo us.

We definitely saw progress with our pup while training with Misty - our rescue pup is reactive, anxious, and very fearful of most things including people and dogs. It is unfortunate to see others have had a similar experience to us, in that Misty stopped responding to all communications. We paid for a 6 month program but were told this was a performance based program so training would continue until he was a good dog, not based on a set number of sessions. We loved that Misty came to our home for training however we also often experienced Misty running late and frequently canceling. Because of our dogs reactivity towards new people, Misty said she or another employee would watch him when we traveled overseas for 2 weeks. We paid her over 3 months in advance and she bailed on us 2 weeks prior, leaving us without enough time to get our dog comfortable enough with anyone else to stay with him in our home. It was extremely stressful to say the least. We invested a lot of money to have a good dog we can trust around people and we do not yet have one. I hate to give a bad review but we’ve reached out several times to give the opportunity to make this right and have been ghosted.
