Good dogs stay

We absolutely loved working with Misty and Will! We adopted a shelter dog who was having some serious trouble with impulse control. We tried numerous different methods to try to curb her behavior, and eventually felt like we were at our wit's end. When Misty started working with our dog, we started to see a difference fairly quickly. She was less anxious, better and initiating play appropriately, and stopped reacting to our neighbors' dogs barking through the fence. Over the course of the training, we not only saw our pup become more capable of calming herself in stressful situations, but generally just developed a stronger sense of self-confidence that she is carrying with her. It was adorable seeing how excited our dog was every time they would come for training. After our training, I can say with certainty that she is a completely different dog. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, trust, and care Misty and Will gave to our dog.

She is committed to keep training jack until he gets to where he needs to be she is very committed to her job. It really helps when they let you make payments. Thank you again. Misty has been amazing!!! We have three dogs with varying needs. One rescue who is very fearful, so we are working on behavior modification techniques with her, we have an adolescent pit who needs all of the obedience, and a middle aged golden who’s going blind so needs some help adapting. All humans and animals needed training on adjusting to a very dominant pitty puppy who needed to learn some manners. So talk about a challenge that Misty took on with confidence and reassured us that we could do this! The program is great bc it’s all self paced and flexible. She teaches all positive methods, zero harmful or negative methods! Most of the success is based on the humans following through with what they’re taught, so we work on things and then Misty adds things and we gradually make progress! There’s no deadline to finish and then it’s over, Misty constantly reassured us that she’ll always be our trainer even once the three fur babies and two humans are all trained. We highly recommend!

Honestly, it's kind of mixed bag with Misty. Our dogs definitely made progress, but Misty is very disorganized and forgetful. For example, our dogs learned to sit and to wait for treats and not run out the door and we learned some techniques to improve their leash skills, but Misty often forgot when we needed to cancel or move class, what she told us we would work on next time, and what she had and had not worked on with us. For what we paid, $1200, the service and training was passable, but our roommate paid almost $5000 and that seems like a significant overcharge for the work she did with his dog. The reason I am giving one star is because she no-call no-showed to a class and then didn’t respond to any of our follow ups and we never heard from her again. Our training was not done, and our roommate’s dog’s training wasn’t even close. It looks like she has ghosted a client before without a refund, so buyer beware.
