My 2 pittie’s have been receiving private training from Ben and I have nothing but positive things to say! He meets my dogs where they are at and is gentle with my female (as she is very timid with the prong collar), but still stern. I see improvements with them each time we train and I look forward to all of our future sessions. He’s also helping me become a better and more confident dog handler. I highly recommend Ben to anyone in need of dog training! In addition to training and boarding, also offers walks/dog sitting which is such a nice bonus!

I started group classes with George with a 5 month old Belgian Malinois x Dutch Shepherd rescue who was completely unsocialized and living with a pack of aggressive dogs for the first 4 months of her life. She was extremely skittish, fear reactive, food aggressive, etc. The beginner obedience classes and now advanced obedience classes with Got Your Back K9 have completely changed her behavior and demeanor and given me the tools to know how to properly train and handle a challenging dog. We frequently get compliments on her good behavior while out on walks in our neighborhood. We really appreciate the expertise from George and his team and look forward to continuing training with them.

We highly recommend Got Your Back K9 Life! Our German Shepherd puppy, Remy, recently completed a two-week board and train with Benjamin, and the results far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we met Benjamin, it was clear he’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but truly passionate about what he does. Benjamin took the time to thoroughly teach our entire family — including our kids — how to properly work with Remy using the commands he’d learned. Remy is now so well-trained and responsive that even my five year old niece can walk him confidently! The level of obedience and control he’s gained in such a short time is nothing short of amazing, and it’s clear Benjamin dedicated a great deal of time and care to his training. The facility itself is very clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Remy was actually sad to leave, which speaks volumes about the experience he had there. We’re beyond grateful to both Benjamin and George for the incredible work they’ve done.
