Grand Rapids K9 - Dog Training

Jason and Grand Rapids K9 are one of the best training services you can get. We needed a place to board our Lab and we were looking for a location that would train as well; didn’t want to stick our dog in a kennel for untold hours. We were hesitant to let anyone keep our dog for two weeks because we love him so much and think of the worst when leaving him with a stranger. Rest assured, Grand Rapids K9 is a welcoming environment and you can rest easy leaving your dog. Knowing your dog is being taken care of AND getting effective training is why I can fully recommend this business. Jason asked what we would like to have him focus on and our Lab has taken to all the training beyond expectations. Afterwards, Jason scheduled 2 follow up meetings at our location to ensure implemented training is being carried out correctly and ensure that our dog is continuing in a positive direction. If you’re looking for a board and train, this is it.

Both Jason and Tony are fantastic. They are both very knowledgeable and do a great job teaching owners how to properly train their dogs. Tony went above and beyond for us with one of our shepherds, a rescue, who was very aggressively protective of us, and when we knew we couldn’t give our dog the proper life style he needed, helped us to find the perfect home and working life he needed to thrive. They could’ve taken him in for their board and train, but were completely honest with us that it most likely wouldn’t work for his issues. I highly recommend them!

Before Tony came to our house our 2 dogs could not be in the same room without fighting. Tonight was our second training visit. We were able to have them both on a leash and redirect them when needed. Tony has taught us how to get our dogs in the same room with supervision! He has taught us how to teach our dogs good behavior! Positive reinforcement! He gave us realistic goals! Tony is very knowledgeable! He has given our family hope that our dogs can coexist! I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their dogs!
