5 Stars – Kelsey is a Legend Kelsey at Grassroots K9 Maryland is the real deal. From the moment you meet her, you know you’re in good hands — and so is your dog. She’s got this rare combo of straight-shooting honesty and saint-like patience that makes you trust her immediately (and maybe want to nominate her for a Nobel Peace Prize). She doesn’t waste time with fluff or vague advice. She tells you exactly what’s working, what’s not, and how to fix it — all while somehow managing to stay kind, calm, and encouraging. It’s like having a dog trainer, life coach, and therapist rolled into one very capable human. And I’ve gotta shout out the facility, too — it’s clean, organized, and clearly run by people who care about what they do. No chaos, no weird smells, no mystery puddles. Just good vibes and serious results. If you want a trainer who gets straight to the point, doesn’t BS you, and actually knows what she’s doing — Kelsey’s your girl. I’ve learned more from her in a few sessions than I ever did from a stack of training books and 200 hours of YouTube videos. Bottom line: she’s the one you want in your corner. Hands down.

All of the trainers here have helped to change mine and my dog’s life for the positive! After adopting our dog we were feeling stressed and defeated with her reactivity and due to the work they did with us as owners and the fundamentals they helped to instill in our dog she is able to not just walk around other dogs without any difficulties but also play with a variety of dogs. I highly recommend grassroots to anyone with a dog.
