I cannot express how grateful I am I enrolled my pup Billy in Great Lakes Day Train program! The team is so friendly and their communication with their customers is amazing. I would get so excited everyday to see pictures and videos of Billys progress and the fun activities they did with her! Billy’s leash reactivity is so much better and now when I take her to the park we can play off leash without her running at every other person or dog at the park. My goal was to be comfortable taking Billy everywhere so she didn’t miss out on anything and I am so happy with our new relationship, I know Billy is too! She is so much calmer and taking her on walks is enjoyable for both of us now 😂 Thank you all so much!

We brought our puppy to Jacob and Liz for there 2 week board and train.. Best decision we could of ever made for him, his manners are sooo so much better and with working on the skills they taught us at our training before we brought him home they'll only get better.. They had amazing communication, gave you daily updates (pictures and videos) you were always in the loop and knew exactly what they were doing..

We would definitely recommend Great Lakes Dog Training. Our 10 year old dog had developed some bad habits ( our fault) and thought he ruled the roost. He now follows basic commands (come, sit, place, down) and we can go for a walk without him darting off everywhere. They sent updates daily including videos and had a very thorough training for us when we picked up our dog so that we can continue the great work they started. Liz and Jacob were wonderful to work with.

My dog is 11 years old. She is a German Shepard. She is under socialized and was very reactive. I live in an apartment building and she would want to attack everyone and everything. She even bit my friend when he came over. I was so saddened and lost all hope. In 3 weeks she came back and she was friendly again, even met my roommates sister for the first time and just sniffed her. She basically went back to how she used to be - a friendly pet happy dog. I’m so happy I took her here. Jacob and Liz are super friendly and communicate very well. Ignore the bad reviews, they clearly never worked with them. Miracle people I tell you!
