We knew that our young GSD puppy was in need of severe obedience training. Other training was not successful until we came across Grn MtN K9 . Chris is highly knowledgeable and gave us the proper equipment and structured training exercises for our high energy, highly stubborn and noncompliant puppy. After our first session Koda was a changed puppy. Starting at 6 1/2 mos old with not listening , running away, pulling on a leash & no recall - by the 2nd & 3rd class Koda was intuned with the commands ; sit , stay & heal. The prong & E collar provided the proper tools ; he was excited to learn and “work” for every class. By the 4th, 5th & 6th class He was off leash, not pulling , not reactive and was super good for a pack walk . Now for the last sessions he is 10 mos old and OMG so much more well behaved. Stays in place , doesn’t jump on us & comes when we call him. This was by far the best training and exceeded our expectations!! We couldn’t be happier!! We are now proud parents of a well trained and obedient GSD puppy. Walks are a pleasure, I don’t have to worry about other dogs and his reaction, he comes when called, sits, stays and understands the commands. Safety features all the way around; for us , Koda, our grandkids and other people. We highly recommend GREEN MOUNTAIN K9 for anyone experiencing troubles with their “fur baby” This training works . We had a great experience working with Chris! He trained our older dog several years ago, and when it came time to train our one-year-old, we specifically sought him out again. After trying two trainers in our new area, Chris was the only person we trusted to help us. Since we were only back in town for a limited time, Chris went out of his way to accommodate our schedule. He was patient, thorough, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident continuing our dog’s training once we returned home. Even after moving hours away, Chris is still the trainer we trust with our dogs. We couldn’t recommend him enough!
