We cannot recommend Chris and Green Mountain K9 enough! We brought our rescued German Shepherd mix to Chris because he struggled with reactivity and pulling on the leash. From the very beginning, Chris took the time to understand our dog's specific challenges and gave us the tools and guidance we needed to help him succeed. The transformation has been incredible. Our dog no longer pulls on walks, his reactivity has improved tremendously, and he now has excellent recall. One of the biggest accomplishments is that he can confidently and safely enjoy off-leash adventures while staying focused and responsive to us. Chris is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. He not only trained our dog but also taught us how to communicate effectively and continue building on his progress. We are so grateful for everything Chris has done and would highly recommend Green Mountain K9 to anyone looking for a skilled and dedicated dog trainer!

If you’re looking for a dog trainer, look no further. I had the pleasure of working with Chris & Kyle and both are amazing at what they do. I came to Chris with my dog who was obedient to a certain threshold and I just wanted to know I could have full control over him and have the option to have safe off leash fun. I was hesitant about the prong & ecollars at first like most, but was shown how to safely use thesetraining tools, and it had made all the difference. It was absolutely worth the investment and I’d recommend Chris over & over again.

We brought our dog Odin to Chris for an evaluation and mutually agreed that enrolling in the 8 week obedience program would be best for us. After one session, our dog was walking on a leash without pulling (something we struggled with since he was a puppy). Halfway through the program, our dog was following commands both on and off leash with ease. After completing our 8 weeks, our dog is so much more confident and now he LOVES to learn and practice all of the obedience exercises we were taught by Chris. Not only is Chris an incredible trainer, but it is very evident that he loves working with these dogs. Green Mountain K9 really does live up to their slogan “Difficult dogs, remarkable results” as we received nothing less than remarkable from Chris and his expertise.

Working with Chris at Green Mountain has been seriously life changing for us. Prior to our training with him, we were trying our best to “manage” our very energetic, jumpy, and nippy dog. We struggled taking her over to other people’s houses or even having guests over to ours. It was difficult walking her, as all she would do was pull us on a leash for miles. And to top it off, she started running away to the neighbor’s house and would get the “zoomies” when we tried to get her back safely on our property. Needless to say, YouTube videos and books were not helping us get the job done. And then we found Chris! Within the first week, she was walking on a leash, side by side with us… and this was just the beginning. In just 2-3 months we have a dog that can walk with us off leash, her recall is 100%, she can now wait patiently when guests enter and exit our home, and to our shock and amazement, she learned not to chase our chickens around the yard- we are living in heaven! Chris gets the job done- no gimmicks and no bull- just straight up training for you and your pup. He trains your dog for real world situations, so you can trust that your dog will know how to respond outside of the lessons. My only regret is that we didn’t sign up sooner. 100% recommend! Chris helped save my dog! I was put in a position to either have him put down or train him due to a bite incident. I wasn't able to do anything with my dog unless he was muzzled. Now I can take him for a off leash walk he doesn't lunge at other dogs or people doesn't even bark and I couldn't be happier. Now am looking into bite training with Chris next. Thank you so much for helping me save my dog! 100% worth every penny.
