Gunnison Kennels

Gunnison Kennels in Grand Junction gave my 8mo Golden Retriever dog a fantastic place to stay and have fun while we had fun at Country Jam. James and his wife let him romp around their huge fenced yard, meet goats and chickens, play with their kids and make some new dog friends. It’s was great to know he could be part of their pack! It was in the 90s and they had a pool and sprinklers for him so he stayed cool. He really wasn’t too excited to leave when we picked him up lol. I would happily use them again for boarding or training next time we are in town. Thanks, James!

My brother’s German Shepherd tragically lost her person when he passed suddenly. She was unsocialized around people and other dogs and clueless when it came to basic obedience. James and Meg took her into their care and turned her around 100%. They gained her trust and worked with her so that now she loves to be with other dogs, is great with kids, and confidently strolled into Safeway with her new person to pick out some hot dogs. I will be forever grateful to them.

Excellent and kind kennel service where your pets are treated like the family they are! James has been working with dogs all his life and truly loves them.
