Gunnison Kennels

I have a high energy 6 year old GSD who needed basic training as well as socialization with other dogs. James has been fantastic with both my dog and with showing me how to interact with my dog effectively.  For me, his training has been easy, logical and kind. My dog did a 5 day stay at his kennel as well.  James did daily walks with her and took her out for play and practice several times each day.  I would highly recommend James Johnson and Gunnison Kennels.

I am new to the area and needed a dog sitter fast due to an unexpected out of town trip. My parents recommended James as they had used him for a day to watch their yellow lab while they were visiting. James was friendly and accommodating to my last minute plans and right away I felt comfortable after talking to him and even more so after meeting him and seeing his place. He kept me up to date daily with pictures and texts as to how my dog was doing. She usually has lots of anxiety without me but she did great with the daily walks and interactions with his family and other dogs. I will gladly continue to take my dog to him when I am out of town. Highly recommend!
