I love this company! We brought our 7 year old Goldendoodle and our fresh 4 month old Bernedoodle to Hakuna Matata for board and train 2 weeks and the customer service and kindness exceeded our expectations! The whole staff are SO loving towards the animals and each of them really do an awesome hands on job! Not to mention the amount of content I got of my pups showing me what they were working on and their improvements was reassuring and heartwarming. I appreciate that they come to you after training and very patiently walk you through how to keep it up at home! 10/10 will recommend to anyone who asks me!🩷

Hakkuna Matata provided an exceptional training program customized for me and my dog. I adopted from the Humane Society a year ago when she was a 7-8 month old pup. My sweet Daisy, a pitbull mix, is now fully grown which means strength, high energy, and a lot of stubborn sassiness. She’s smart and likes to be in control and I really didn’t know how to take back control. I wanted her to feel safe, secure and needed her to not always operate at a high level of excitement. I needed to learn how to build trust with her and take charge so she can chill and live her best doggie life anxiety free. The rehab program provided Daisy the skills and environment for her to relearn behaviors. And working directly with Mike gave me the blueprint for leading her successfully. It’s a terrific program and they also have day care so her training is reinforced while she gets to play! I highly recommend this program because of the results that come from the expertise, compassion and dedication of the entire team.

Took our 10month old German shepherd/pitbull mix for 2 week training. Rue completely transformed from an unsure puppy to a confident dog. Still some work to be done but Michael has set us up for success. His expertise and transfer of knowledge are second to none. Fantastic communication with pictures and videos while Rue was away. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to get their pup to become well behaved!

Hakuna Matata is AMAZING! We have a four year old doodle that had picked up some bad manners and the leash pulling (she was walking us) and leash aggression were two of our biggest concerns. After a great intro call, we sent her there for two weeks of training. During those two weeks, both Mike and Joselyn were fantastic about sending us updates and we couldn’t believe the progress our girl was making. Upon completion, Mike came and spent five hours working with us on everything Luna had learned and how we could continue working with her. I could have cried when we went out and were able to pass other dogs without Luna barking and pulling. We continue to send Luna weekly for doggie day care and she gets SO excited when we turn onto their street. We also just boarded with them for the first time and it is so nice to know Luna is at a place she loves so much and is well taken care of. We would and do recommend Hakuna Matata to anyone who is thinking about training. It has made our lives, and lunas, so much better especially since we have been able to take her more places :)
