Macho was once very dog reactive, and outside of our house would act a fool! He was a nervous/scared wreck and felt like he needed to protect us. He would yank and drag me towards other dogs, He’s attacked my brother in laws dog and my last straw was when he bit a child. Even if it wasn’t enough to draw blood it was enough for me to ask for help. I just couldn’t keep living life anxious about every walk or scanning for every dog that would trigger him. It wasn’t fair to him either. After a friend told me about Gabe I set up an appointment to meet him right away, he understood what I needed. Macho did board and train and The complete 360 Macho has done is amazing, he is like a whole other dog, we are able to go to festivals/farmer markets, and we can walk without being so stressed out. He can care less for other dogs. We love and enjoy going to our group classes and seeing his friends. And he absolutely loves Gabe. Happy dog academy has been a blessing I encourage anyone who is overwhelmed and feels at a loss with their pup and you want to give them and yourself a better life happy dog academy is the place for you!. thank you so much Gabe!

Milo has been working with Gabriel at Happy Dog Academy for over a year and he is a completely different dog! He walks well on his leash, and has learned how to behave around other dogs, among so many other things. Gabriel is kind and patient and will train both the dog and the owner to create a healthy relationship. We love the private lessons and the group classes! Keep up the good work Gabriel :)

We sent our Labrador Retriever, Maverick, to Gabriel for his 5 week board & train and to say I have been impressed with the results would be an understatement. I was hopeful Gabriel would be able to teach him the skills he needed to walk on a leash and respect others space when having company or while out for a walk, but I wasn’t sure if it would translate once Maverick was back home. However, Gabriel has gone above & beyond to make sure we had the positive results we were looking for and more. He even practiced walking with carts/strollers during his training, so Maverick would know exactly what to do when he went on family walks at home. It is evident that Gabriel is passionate about the dogs he trains as he cares for them like his own. In my experience, he sends picture/video updates, takes them to the beach/park/stores/restaurant patios, and gives suggestions specific to your dog’s needs to better their health. He is meeting your dog where they are and providing the training they need to become the most confident & respectable version of themselves. Another thing that sets this program apart from others is that Gabriel also offers the opportunity to come to group practices weekly and receive his professional feedback to ensure I am giving the correct commands/corrections and setting Maverick up for success as we transition home. I am so thankful for the training we have received and continue to receive. Maverick is more confident on a leash, in cars, out in public, around others, and even in our home, and so are we! I cannot recommend Gabriel enough!
