We were given Gabriel’s name because our dog got out the front door and terrorized our neighbor and her two kids. It was awful and I promised her we’d fix the situation. Dexter spent 5 weeks with Gabriel and his dogs and is a new pup! He sits at doors and waits to be called through, he walks easily on a leash, and is calm around people and other dogs. Gabriel worked firmly but kindly with Dexter and trained us too! I sent Dexter because of the incident with our neighbor but didn’t realize how much of my brain space went to keeping him out of trouble or picking up after his messes. Gabriel helped us realize that boundaries for our dogs are attainable and make life with our fur son even better! I would highly recommend Happy Dog academy!!

When it comes to my boy I've always been a "helicopter mom." He's always with me so leaving him with anyone for a period of time was never even an option, but Gabriel made me and my fiancee so comfortable and kept us updated frequently on his progress and improvements. Kenai was terrified of every noise he heard, would bark when he saw a person or dog, was reactive to people and dogs and we tried all we could think of to help him with no avail. Until Gabriel came into the picture! I never thought I could have a dog that I could trust off leash outside, but now I do. I never thought my boy would be comfortable in his skin or be able to live up to his fullest potential as a dog, but now he does! The training he recieved from Gabriel was above and beyond my wildest dreams all while keeping his goofy personality. We recieve so many compliments on how well behaved Kenai is from strangers in public and family/friends. He is even now welcome at his grandmother's house. Thank you Gabriel and Happy Dog Academy for giving us and our boy the tools to live his best life and be comfortable in his own skin no matter the situation! All of our lives have had a great impact from his training and I can't thank you enough!

My dog did a 3 week board and train with Gabe for constant barking and pulling on the leash along with greeting strangers aggressively. I am so impressed with his discipline now and he walks so well on a leash. He knows commands and can go into a down position with people and dogs around and stay in that command. Gabe took him to so many different places and worked with him every day. He sent us daily updates; pictures and videos and always made sure to ask questions so he could further understand our dog and find the root of the problem to train it out. We are so happy with the results and will continue on with private classes until we feel he is in the right place and we can continue on our own! If you’re unsure about enrolling in a board and train, we were too but it’s helped our dogs confidence and our stress levels immensely!
