Updated: Initially we wrote this place off. However after writing this previous review, the owner, Matthew reached out to me and did his best to make it right. He corrected and held his business accountable like a good business should. He was apologetic and understanding. Most people just want to be understood. I have yet to use the services here but Matthew’s efforts definitely reflected much higher than our initial experience. I will give credit where it’s due and he clearly cares for his business. He was kind enough to share recommendations and sounds like a stand up fella. We appreciate Matthew and his drive to keep his happy heart pet parents, well, Happy. Thanks Matthew. *****Updated- 9/1 We called this business to ask about daycare. There was no answer. We then were blasted with links and junk text mail, ‘twas very off-putting. The owner/spokesperson only communicates via text and was not welcoming at all. We wanted our pets in the care of humane humans but whoever runs the “chat” is quite short, and easily bothered if you ask questions or ask to speak with someone. Patience is definitely not their forte so we chose to go with a different direction which led to an assault of insulting texts afterwards. -2/10 Do not recommend.

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Anna Marie is with our pup, Lucy. She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. To tell you that I was such at ease knowing she was in Anna Marie’s care is an understatement. I am so grateful to have found her and Happy Heart Pet Care. Don’t think twice about booking your pet here!

Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙
