Happy Pets Training

We loved working with Christine! She was very responsive and got to work with our dogs right away. We were able to meet with her over Zoom and she helped us to gain knowledge to help our dogs. We were skeptical about Zoom meetings at first, but it worked out so well. Her goal is to help owners know how to train and interact with their dogs. Honestly, I think she was able to get a better picture of how our dogs actually interact because they weren't distracted by a new person in the room. She really got to know about our dogs' personalities and quirks by asking questions and observing to help us get to the root of our problems. It's clear that she has a love and enjoyment of dogs and really works to help them make improvements. We highly recommend her!

When we got Stella, our troubled and anxious adoptee, we needed a hero. Christine quickly filled that role. She took our training game to a new level that we desperately needed. Stella really needed relief and we didn’t know how to quell her anxiety. Christine gave us the tools to help her. When the world stopped and Christine could no longer come to our home, we were terrified. She put our minds at ease by working with us virtually. She’s now been in our home via computer more than the old fashioned way. While we can’t wait to have her here in real life, she has truly saved this household.

We utilized Christine’s virtual training for help with our 11 week old golden retriever puppy. We were searching for a trainer whose training style was in line with our positive reinforcement/ no punishment beliefs. Christine was the perfect choice and never once recommended that we punish or hurt our girl. Our puppy was growling when we picked her up and we couldn’t quite figure out why or what to do with her. She fit us in THE NEXT DAY and worked within our very tight schedule. In a matter of minutes Christine assessed her behavior and was able to determine that she was scared. She gave us specific directions as to what we needed to do with our puppy to help counter condition her. Along with addressing the main problem, Christine observed her behavior throughout the virtual session and gave us multiple tips for training. It was clear that the wheels were turning in our puppy’s head . By the end of the night she was already responding better, and we were feeling more confident in our training skills (this is our first puppy). As if all this wasn’t enough, Christine was so incredibly nice to our puppy. She was telling her good girl, praising her, and just laughing at her silly puppy antics through the zoom call and was truly engaged in the process despite not physically being here. We will 100% hands down continue to utilize christine for our training needs going forward and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dog!
