Happy Tails Learning Center for Dogs

I’m so glad my puppy Lumi met Claire when she was 6 months old. Claire has been incredible, and Lumi has been a happier dog ever since. Lumi is our first dog, and thanks to Claire, raising our first dog has felt so much easier and more enjoyable. Claire is patient, knowledgeable, and great at explaining what to do in a clear, practical way. You can truly tell she loves dogs with her whole heart—she doesn’t treat them like “just a job.” We feel much more confident as dog owners because of her, and we highly recommend her to anyone, especially first-time dog parents.

I brought my dog Sunny in for training and boarding,and I’m so impressed with the entire experience. Sunny is sweet but definitely stubborn so I knew Claire had her work cut out for her. She handled it beautifully. Claire was patient,calm, and incredibly skilled. She took the time to understand Sonny’s personality and worked with her in a way that really made things click. Sunny is noticeably more aware and now has great manners. The boarding portion was just as positive. I was completely at ease knowing Sunny was in caring, capable hands, and the whole staff did everything to keep her comfortable, happy and well supported while she was there. Very grateful for the effort put in to Sunny’s training by the whole Happy Tails crew.

We brought our 6 month old English mastiff to happy tails on the recommendation of a few friends. Knowing she is was going to be massive we wanted to make sure she would be easy to handle. We worked with Claire for the training she was great to work with sending us updates throughout the week while Peaches was with them. We did the one week training we were very pleased with the outcome. We returned about two weeks later for a follow up appointment where my wife and daughters worked with Peaches Claire was very patient and even encouraged my oldest daughter to work with Peaches as she was nervous to do so Clair’s encouragement helped her to build up her confidence. I cannot express how great the team was at happy tails. You can tell from every interaction with staff this team loves what they do and how much they love every dog that comes in. We were lucky enough to bring our reactive boxer Beau to Happy Tails, and work on his issues with Chris. Beau is very dog reactive, and Chris was able to help us learn how to read Beau's body language and anticipate his reactions before they started. We always felt safe working around other dogs to desensitize Beau, as Chris was always on top of both dog's reactions. We made a lot of progress with Beau and would definitely return with any other training needs or for boarding!
