Harnessing Potential Dog Training

Jake is a fantastic dog trainer and we saw results with our two Retriever/Shepherd mixes instantly. We worked on everything from basic commands (sit/stay/down/heel) to off leash recall and off leash hiking. Jake is great at breaking down the basic steps and making the lessons easy to understand as well as productive. He is also great at answering questions (of which I had about a million) and taking time to be thoughtful and instructive in his responses. He also worked directly with our kids, helping them learn the commands and how to manage our two big pups. The group sessions (outside of our 1:1 sessions) have been incredibly helpful as well, working with our two girls off leash around distractions and other dogs. We also had our dogs board with Jake while we were out of town. Jake sent us pictures and videos of the girls training and living their best lives. We were worried they might not want to leave! We highly recommend Jake and all that he does!

Jake has helped our family train our one year old mini Dauchsund (who would bark at everyone in her path if you looked at her funny) into a well mannered sweetheart. He has given us the tools to teach her how to be a well behaved doggy citizen in public and in our home. We have received so many compliments from people who have witnessed her transformation. On top of that he helped our already well behaved Great Dane with becoming a model doggy citizen. I used to struggle walking the two of them together and now they walk together in perfect harmony.

Additionally, Jake offered boarding services that made leaving our puppy so much less stressful because we knew he was with someone we trusted.
