Harnessing Potential Dog Training

Jake is a wonder with dogs! He understands them and is patient with teaching the skills to the owners. He works with all sizes and ages of dogs. Since I have moved out of the area and adopted a troubled shelter pup, he has been so helpful as a resource and sounding board for the problems I face with my dog. His insight has helped me have a better relationship with my dog and better understand all dog behavior.

Jake helped my puppy and I get started. He has recommendations for gear to use and how to use it. When we began, Pearl didn't have any recall and wouldn't walk on a leash, now after a couple sessions we're off to the races! He really helped me have the confidence to take on caring for a puppy, I'm glad to have his help from the beginning. I'm looking forward to more sessions with him. Thank you Jake!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with several trainers over the past year, and while each of them was kind and taught us a few things, none made as profound an impact on my German Shepherd Pitbull as Jake has. Jake is absolutely worth every penny! He has given me the skills needed to confidently walk and socialize my giant schnauzer, Chief, in my community. He's also helped Chief learn to manage his anxiety and reactivity to other dogs and small, fast-moving children. Chief is learning to be the dog we always knew he could be and I am learning to be a responsible and confident large-dog owner. We waited until Chief was 6 years old to seek training, and that was six years too long. Imagine how different our lives would be if we would have found Jake a few years ago? I'm excited for Chief to confidently explore his world, meet new doggy pals, and for humans to see him for the amazing pup that he is. Thank you Jake! You truly are amazing!

Jake is such an awesome teacher! We started having his tutor class since our puppy was 2.5 months old. We wanted to train our puppy as earlier as we could because we live in an apartment and she grows so quickly. We tried many dog trainers to help us, but only Jake came to give us a hand. He helped us set a clear boundary with our puppy in merely just one hour. It was incredible that how much we learned within one hour tutor class. He not only had a lesson to our puppy, but taught my husband and I how to train our puppy at home. He also checked whether the environment is safe for our puppy. The most important thing is, although Jake seems harsh during the training class, but he also did an incredible job building a great relationship with puppies. Our puppy really respects Jake and loves him which often make me jealous lol We also took Jake’s group class. He was able to handle over 30 dogs at the same time, and made sure every dog has a good quality time during the class. His group class is super helpful for dogs and owners to improve social skills, and give us a chance to make human and dog friends ❤️ Overall, he’s such a great great teacher !
