FAKE, FRAUDULENT review warning!<br><br>You have never had ANY contact with anyone from our business. We have never spoken nor corresponded. You are contributing to a maliciously orchestrated smear campaign, encouraged by a former client, Ariel Ashe, with whom we have a dispute. She has posted on social media encouraging people like you, who have ABSOLUTELY ZERO personal knowledge of the facts, to write a bad review. <br><br>Ariel Ashe has done this before to businesses who do not comply with her extortionate demands for free stuff or refunds. Look at her Yelp (Ariel A.) review of Smokey’s Pipe and Coffee in Waikiki and its aftermath.

What is appalling and disgusting is this FALSE, SLANDEROUS review by someone who has never interacted in any way with our business. She lives 6,000 miles away in Florida. <br><br>This review, like all the one star reviews posted in a flurry today, is the product of a maliciously orchestrated smear campaign designed to lower our rating. Why? Money.<br><br>Your sister’s dog went home fully trained in January. She posted a one star review yesterday, THREE MONTHS after his training was completed. The timing of her, and all of these fake one star reviews, tells the story. <br><br>Your sister demanded compensation for scabs on her dog Chapo’s neck from an ecollar caused by his head shaking. Because Chapo is a standard poodle and had not been groomed for sometime, the scabs were not visible until she brought him to grooming. Your sister, via text message, acknowledged that this exact same thing had happened before at home when she used an ecollar. She stated that she was “not mad or anything.” We apologized to which she replied “I accept your apology. All good. Thank you”<br><br>She subsequently took Chapo to the vet where they cleaned and irrigated the area. Your sister then called and asked that we pay for her vet bills and more to compensate for her “anxiety.” Feeling badly and following a “customer is always right” philosophy, we asked what we could do to make her satisfied. She requested a $2000 refund (more than half the program cost and well over 5x the vet bill). We agreed to settle the matter and promptly processed the refund.<br><br>Almost 3 weeks later, we received an email demanding an additional $2500.<br>We declined. She threatened to sue and take other measures (including veiled allusions to smearing our name) if we didn’t pay up. We agreed to mediation. <br><br>The mediation was held April 21. She did not get what she wanted at the mediation, she again threatened to write bad reviews. Within minutes of its conclusion, she posted a one star review. That was not enough for her. She enlisted people she knows, created fake accounts and even posted on social media for her followers to make bad reviews (We have a screenshot of her post). It is one thing to craft a negative review; that is her right. It is quite another to incite others with zero knowledge of the facts to write bad reviews in an effort to destroy our business. <br><br>If as you suggest Chapo was abused and strangled, you and your sister and all of the other fake one star reviews surely would have brought such disgusting and appalling treatment to the attention of the public sooner than THREE MONTHS AFTER it allegedly happened! Surely she would have reported such behavior to the authorities! But she did not. Why post now? What has changed? Answer- MONEY. She didn’t win at mediation. <br><br>If you are a potential client reading this, please read reviews from our ACTUAL CLIENTS. Before April 21, and your sister’s loss at mediation, we had nothing but glowing 5 star reviews.
