HCC K-9 Dog Training

Brian has helped us mold our Giant Schnauzer into a well behaved puppy at just six months old. We started with basic obedience and learned some great tools to utilize in order to ensure Rocky was a pup with impulse control but also plenty of confidence. We then moved on to the advanced off leash training and this has been a joy for both us and Rocky. He’s able to walk our neighborhood off-leash while listening and minding his own business when required. We’ve also used the doggy daycare academy which, isn’t just daycare, it’s a day of fun work for the doggos. Our pup looks forward to seeing Rachel and all his doggie friends whenever we bring him to hang out for the day. Brian has shared so many wonderful tips as well as reminding us to be consistent to avoid confusion. We look forward to even more trainings in the future and appreciate him working with our puppy who has turned into such a joy to have and be around.

I could not be more thankful for the Brian and Rachel for the amazing training sessions. Charlie has gone from dog reactive to calm cool and collected, and from selective hearing to reliable recall and able to have tons of off leash fun IN ONLY 12 WEEKS! We have taken Basic Obedience and Off leash course and just signed up for Scent Work as soon as it was available. Charlie and I will be taking all the classes. It's great bonding time as well as helpful for BOTH of out quality of life. Charlie looks forward to "Going to school" on Sundays and is all excited when we pull in. I would (and HAVE) recommended them to anyone with behavioral issues, looking for basic training, or looking to bond with their pupcake. Keep in mind that training is an investment in both your futures and is FULLY worth it for the amazing memories you'll get to make with your pup in the future. Again, not enough thank yous!

Our pup is nearly 2 and we have had her in group and private training programs since we got her at 12 weeks old. The group trainer said her incessant barking in the classes were just her way of talking. Maybe so but it did nothing to help her behavior or us to help her learn basic skills. The private trainer said she was too reactive for a group class. Then I found Brian. I asked for in home training and after a short phone call he suggested we join a group class. I was a little apprehensive and he easily could have charged us for home training. We attended the first class and I cried tears of joy the entire ride home. After 2 sessions we have a new dog! Our home is calmer and we all are excited to keep working with Brian and his team.
