Heaven Sent K-9 Dog Training

Sogand is an absolute miracle worker. I was in desperate need of help for my Belgian Malinois puppy. She had extreme fear aggression to the point where I could barely take her on a walk without her lunging at runners, bikes, and especially dogs. I had gone through 3 different trainers and nothing seemed to be helping my pup. I feel so lucky to have found Sogand boarding and training program. After a quick phone call and research on the website I was hopeful this was the right place. Luna did the boarding and training back in July when she was 7 months old. Throughout the 2 weeks Sogand sent me videos almost daily and I couldn’t believe the progress I was seeing. She was hanging around the other dogs without a muzzle on and was comfortable around people. When I picked her up, Sogand educated me on her breed and behavior and explained this was not going to be an overnight fix and I would have to stay on top of the training. And wow I am happy I did. We went back for training weekly and the improvements are incredible. Fast forward two months and she’s a totally different dog. I moved across the country and was able to take Luna on the plane with ease. We now live with 2 other dogs and have people going in and out of the house all the time and she is doing phenomenal. We still have to stay on top of the training but I cannot thank Sogand and her dogs enough for guiding us through this training process. HIGHLY recommend her training program!

This is a very overdue review. I've been working with Sogand for a year. That's how long overdue and I can't even begin to express my gratitude for what's she's done for me. She's gave me all the hope in the world when I thought I had all but lost it. My dog, Bailey, who I had since he was 8 weeks old, did a complete 180. I thought I had done all things right, socialized him early, both with dogs and people, trained him basic obedience. At 4 months, we began a group obedience class where he thrived, at first. But next thing I knew at 5 months he couldn't look at another dog without going crazy. He lunged at another dog at our group training class for turning in our direction. After asking for pets and cuddles by people he knew, he tried lunging for their faces, including family members of mine. I had never been so scared in my life. I thought I was going to lose him. I was scared of taking him on walks and him interacting with anyone. Bailey was 6 months old when we went to Sogand and boy to say that it was quite an introduction is an understatement. Bailey, as it turned out had become possessive of me, of my car even! But, after our first session, I knew that I had come to the right place. Sogand explained to me that it wasn't going to be easy. She wanted to do more private sessions with me before taking him into board and training to make sure that I was committed and can keep up with the training ( I mean come on! She cares that much! She doesn't give you false promises!) Those first few sessions revealed so much to me about what I had been doing wrong and how much I needed to ensure that Bailey knew that I was the leader. She guided me so much both before and after Bailey's board and training. I still go on a 3 week or 2 week basis because we love training with her that much! Bailey, who tried to lunge at Sogi's face the first time he met her, now loves her so much and her pack. You aren't going to find a trainer who cares more, who works as hard as she does. I couldn't be prouder to endorse her! Do not hesitate. I did when I first saw her page when Bailey was 3 months, and you don't know how much I regret that! But today, I couldn't be happier. I can walk Bailey with peace of mind, he can look at other dogs, we haven't had any incidents at home or with family members. I won't sugarcoat it, it's not easy! But if you are a dedicated dog owner then Sogand will help you get the job done!! If you think you can just send your dog to board and training and expect not to reinforce that training, then please reconsider being a dog owner altogether. You need to consider your pet as a child who looks to you for guidance and correction. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sogi!!! I'm sorry this took so long. But I look forward to working with you as much as I possibly can while I remain in the state! So Do Not Hesitate. Call her!

Sogand is an incredible trainer. She doesn't just get dogs to obey -- she explains her methods very articulately and teaches you how to get effective results on your own. And she doesn't use the same system for every dog. She really tailors to what your dog needs. Over the years we have seen 5 trainers including some of the most famous, most reputable, and most expensive expert trainers in LA. None of them come close. We are so lucky to have found her.
