Heaven Sent K-9 Dog Training

Sogand is amazing! We had been searching yelp and calling different trainers, but we were highly against positive reinforcement-only training. We had tried that the first year that we got our dog and it absolutely does not work! Our dog would only listen if we had a treat in our hands (and even then, sometimes he wouldn't). He began biting people that came over if he didn't know them, and even some people he knew if they hugged me or my husband. In addition to aggression, he would not listen, bark consistently, and pull while walking on the leash. Sogand taught us corrections for all of these behaviors! After he stayed with her for two weeks, he is better at listening, does not pull on the leash, and we are working with him on aggression issues and keeping up with training. We will continue to have follow-ups with Sogand to continue to address any issues and make sure that he is progressing. I also have to add that Sogand uses the money that she makes to save dogs that are on the red list at shelters, train them, and adopt them out. We adopted a new fur baby that she had been training for over a month and she completed our little family. She keeps up through text messages and always responds when we need advice for corrections or just to say hello and send a picture. She is an amazing trainer and an amazing person and I could not recommend her more!

I took my American Bulldog Bebo to Sogand and Heaven Sent K-9 after I had reached my limit trying to curb my dogs bad behaviors . My dog would be very stubborn listening to my commands and would jump up on you and knock you over. It got so bad that I had to put my dog in the laundry room every time someone came over. Through private lessons and overnight boarding, those issues are gone and I now have a well behaved and trained dog. People joke that I must have replaced my dog with an exact copy because the difference is night and day. Sogand not only trains your dog, but she gives you as the owner lessons and techniques that you can use every day with your dog to correct their behavior. We brought our 6 month old corgi/poodle mix for a few weeks of the board and train program and could not have been happier with the results. Our dog used to snarl and bite and nip, bark, and run away from us whenever we tried to calm her down, but now she’s one of the best behaved dogs and is pleasant to be with. All of those problems are gone, she is obedient, AND she knows tricks! We were surprised at how much of a difference going to a professional trainer actually made, and we would recommend sending any dog in for training no matter how old the dog is.
