Hendersonville Dog Training

We had an excellent experience with Nick! We sent both of our dogs (2 and 4.5 y/o) for two weeks of boarded training. Both were horrible leash pullers despite past training and leash changes. Our Aussie was overly excitable and stressful to live with. Our retriever was calm but never seemed interested in doing what we asked. What a difference two weeks with Nick made. We were shocked. I can walk them both by myself calmly without pulling, our Aussie has learned that he does not always need to be in the middle of everything causing chaos and that chilling out is a win/win for all. Our retriever can now be walked off leash on a trail w/o running off on a hunt for wildlife. She also is more calm in strange places with people and loud noises. Both dogs are remarkably more calm and pleasurable to be around. Nick came for a pre evaluation and a post evaluation. The dogs were super happy to see him again after their training so we feel comfortable knowing that our dogs were treated kindly and with respect in his care. We are so pleased with Nick's training and would highly recommend him to anybody with a young or old dog that needs some structure to become a happy, contented dog. I also like that he is not a 'treat oriented' trainer as I don't want to always carry doggy treats with me wherever I go with them as a reward for good behavior.
