Cannot say enough great things about our experience! Communication is consistent and clear and Justin and his trainers are always available. I enrolled my 13 week old GSP pup for the puppy program and was so pleased with all the progress- it’s a great foundational course and Lacie shared tons of great videos to help us continue building her training at home! Looking forward to continuing her training with them in the future.

HighBootK9 is the real deal! My GSP had some serious challenges. 1) He was aggressive with other dogs, 2) difficult on leash, and 3) could not be trusted to recall when off-leash. Justin and his team addressed the aggression early on and tailored the 16-week training specific to my dog's needs. I had been considering neutering as a first step, but I’m glad I didn’t start there. If you're on the fence, the 16-week program is worth every penny! Justin worked my dog in the field for bird hunting and now I can trust my dog off-leash. We’re still refining his walking on-leash manners, but he’s making solid progress. My GSP can be more stubborn than most... One other thing to note is that Justin is very communicative and transparent! He answers every question and shares video/picture updates throughout the program. He also posts regularly to their Instagram page, so you feel a part of your dog's program and can see how he's working with other dogs. You can tell he's an expert at what he does and genuinely cares about the dogs. He doesn't sugarcoat your dog's strengths or weaknesses, he works with them. I never got the sense he was trying to 'sell' me on his expertise. It just shows naturally and you know your dog is in the right hands. Justin continues to follow up days and weeks after my dog has graduated from the program. That's someone who truly cares about the end product and someone who stands behind what put their name on. He wants the best for every dog and makes sure you'll be a satisfied client. NOTE: I previously enrolled my dog in a 6-week program elsewhere that didn’t stick. That other place never allowed me to inspect the kennels where he stayed, something that should have been a red flag, but I was desperate for help. Justin keeps his facility very clean and safety is very important to them. Most people don't know that dog training is an unregulated industry, so you have to be careful of who you trust. I wish I had paid for the right program the first time instead of going with a cheaper option. HighBootK9 is worth the value you pay for, and they do it the right way the first time. Highly recommend! Stevie, our GSP, went into training with a great deal of anxiety and nervousness. Honestly, we wondered whether we had somehow gotten a broken dog! Justin and his team did incredible work. The Stevie we have today is not the same dog we dropped off. She now works and behaves like the GSP we always hoped she would be! I feel confident allowing her off leash because she reliably recalls when needed, and she works birds exactly as we had hoped. She also walks so well on a slip lead that even our kids can confidently walk her. Beyond the quality of the training, Justin and his team communicated extremely well. We received updates throughout the process, so we always knew how Stevie was progressing. This training was absolutely worth the investment, and we will be using High Boot for any future dogs we have!

Sharing my personal experience with Bane our fur baby. Laci is our trainer for our pup. She trained him for his puppy training then his obedience class with off lease e collar. The gratitude I have with Laci is something I can never finish paying! No question went unanswered. Any doubt was reassured, honesty and transparency is something without doubt is the first thing she’ll do. My fur baby was her priority during his training. My expectations were reached beyond expected. The adjustment based off my baby’s personality is something I felt made the experience amazing. Everyday I would get process of his training with educational videos training us and educating us based on our baby’s personality. Any furbaby we add to our family will be taken here for training! Highly recommended training here! Laci was amazing!!
