Highland Canine Training - Alabama

We went with the Bootcamp Board & Train and could not be happier. Our beloved Catahoula out of the blue started showing food hoarding, growling, barking scaring my wife and myself. 6 weeks was a long time without Brody, but it was all worth the missing him. He is so much more lovable than he was, he doesn't want to leave our sides now. And the bathroom runs outside are not the yelling for him to come back as he just did what he wanted to do, now when I say "Brody Come" he runs not walks back to me and sits in front of me. I give Cory and his team a big 10 out of 10 for what they did to our Brody. Thanks to all of you. D&EZ in Clio Al.

DO NOT RECOMMEND We took our two dogs there for the 6 week boarding and training in September/October of '23. We paid $6415 for this service. We only received 3-4 "updates" which was just a few pictures over the 6 week period. We were never updated on how the training was actually progressing. Our dogs came back with sores and fleas even though we provided bedding and their flea and heartworm medicine. On pickup, our dogs could NOT do ANYTHING more than what they had already learned in previous trainings at other locations. They learned absolutely no recall or anything else off-leash as we were assured multiple times and we confirmed was the reason for the longer training. It was clear on pickup that the kids working there were the only ones working with the dogs. No one else was onsite during pickup. They spent maybe 15 minutes trying to show us how to walk them on a leash which our dogs already knew. The kids did tell us that one of our dogs "escaped" at some point, which we were never notified of. Additionally, no one ever followed up to see how the dogs were or if we were satisfied. It's clear we paid over $6k for 6 weeks of boarding only.
