Highland Canine Training - Alabama

We had an amazing experience with this board and train program! They came highly recommended by our vet, and now I completely understand why. From the very beginning, the trainers were incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely cared about both us and our dog Gus. Throughout the program, they kept us updated regularly, which gave us so much peace of mind. We always felt like our dog was in the best hands. What really stood out to me was their support even after the training was complete. I had a lot of questions (probably more than most 😅), and they were always so responsive, helpful, and never made me feel like a bother. That level of continued care and dedication is rare and meant so much to us. I truly can’t recommend them enough. If you’re considering a board and train program, this is the team you want!

We had a wonderful experience with Highland Canine Training. Corey, really worked hard with my rescue dog, Wriggs. He has had a fear of men and people coming into our home. Corey completely changed that. He worked with Wriggs for weeks and taught me and my husband how to help our dog overcome his fears. They are very adamant about using positive reinforcement during training which I really liked. Everyone at Highland Canine are just genuinely kind people who really care for dogs and their job. I am so pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any type of dog training.

Highland Canine Training helped me with a difficult situation that saved my service dog, a coonhound. She started going into prey mode and would not recall. She would run for miles. Worried that we may lose her, I called Highland. After talking with the trainer, we set up an evaluation, then a training program. The trainer was great to work with, responsive and good with dogs. With his guidance, we were able to get our hound to recall again and control the prey drive. Five stars! Highly recommend!
