Highland Canine Training - Alabama

Highland Canine Training literally saved our beloved dog! He had been very sick as a puppy and lacked in socialization. He would often bite! Bad bites too! So, from the very 1st phone call I made to the owner, Corey, seeking assistance in modifying our dogs behavior, to every in house and facility training he received, all were professional, patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Shae was then assigned to be the main trainer. She was always so calm and pleasant… she created a great teaching environment. Shae never hesitated to help our dog, no matter how he would behave!! In just a few weeks with HCT, we now live with a sweet, fun, smart and calmer Aussie that loves having company come over and going out for a car ride and a Pup Cup! I highly recommend Highland Canine Training under the leadership of Corey Archer for anyone in need of a dog trainer.

I placed my pittie in the 6 week board and train. Before going, we had already trained him in the basics (sit, come, heal etc). We wanted it more defined, and his come and stay to be on point, since he will be in the truck with my husband. Upon picking him up, his trainer was in a hurry for me to pick him up, and he seemed to be undisciplined. I had hoped getting him home would help. It has not. I am very disappointed in his trainig, he hasn't learned much more than he knew when I dropped him off, and unless he has his shock collar on...well just forget it. I dont want to nic him everytime, I should be able to give a command and he follows it. Sadly, I will have to pay more than the 4000.00 I paid to have him trained again...properly. His trainer was gone for 2 weeks of his training, didn't return his papers, and ran out of hos food and didn't let me know. Simple things, I know, but professionalism in this field should be better. Especially when I put my puppers life in their hands. He wasn't even trained at all in some of things they said they could and would do.
