We have been very impressed with Highland Canine from our beginning inquiries through to delivery. They are very professional and thorough in everything they do. They showed a real concern and interest for Ray’s disability needs and made appropriate adjustments. Through many months, Smokey’s trainer, Carlos, answered all our questions and kept us in contact with his training, with great video clips. Last week, Carlos and another trainer flew Smokey from N. Carolina to Texas and spent several days thoroughly helping us to understand Smokey's training from obedience to specific tasks for Ray's needs. It all was very impressive. I took my sweet girl, Leia to Highland Canine for their 3 week in kennel training. Leia was a hyper puppy with no self control. I couldn’t even take her on walks because she was so big she would pull me everywhere. Although it was hard to be away from her for 3 weeks, she is so much better. She walks right beside me on the leash, which is just amazing to me. I can finally take her to places without her going crazy. Her self control is a lot better and Gabriela gave me some very good tips to continue with training. I’m forever grateful for this experience! I hope to do the 3 week off leash training in the future because I was so satisfied with the outcome. Thank you, Gabriela and Highland Canine training!!

I attended Highland Canine Training LLC in the summer of 2008. After a long process, Highland Canine Training was selected by my respective Police Department. The training is beyond impeccable and their results show when you arrive home. I made a felony drug arrest my first night upon my arrival home. My Police K9 and I worked for approximately (6) years on the Southeast Georgia I-95 Corridor in the capacity of Drug Interdiction. I also spent many years in a plain clothes Narcotics Division where my Police K9 was routinely used in many different environments and elements. To say the least my K9 Partner and I were recognized by many affiliations for above satisfactory accomplishments and were loved by the community we served. I give Highland Canine Training all the credit for the re-establishment of a non-existent departmental canine program the department had lost faith in. The training and diligence has led the department to the continued use of K-9's and furthermore have purchased another K-9 from Highland. Jason, Erin and the staff are beyond professional but more so treat you like family. I'm proud after all so many years later, I still can call Jason when a question arises regarding anything K-9 related. We first learned of Highland Canine through close friends of ours who had an incredible experience. After meeting Kress and seeing his love of and connection with the dogs, we knew Mufasa (our 10 month old chocolate lab mix) would thrive. We loved the regular updates on Instagram during Mufasa's 3 week stay ~ and after seeing all the fun he was having, we were afraid he wouldn't want to come home! When we picked him up, he was happy and healthy, and we could not have asked for him to have received any better care while he was away. Mufasa is a very happy boy and was already quick to learn new things before this training, but the skills, behavior, and leash training he received have undoubtedly changed our lives. And to be honest, Kress trained us, too! We take Mufasa everywhere now with zero hesitation. A huge thank you to Kress and everyone at Highland Canine ~ we would recommend you to anyone!
