Holy City Canine

It’s been about a year since I took my dog to Holy City Canine and it has truly changed my life. My dog had boundless energy and strength that I couldn’t control. I didn’t trust him around other dogs or children and I didn’t know how much more I could take. I took him to holy city canine for about 5 weeks and he is a new dog. He goes everywhere with me, hikes of leash, plays with dogs, and is great with kids. I am so grateful for Jonathan and all that he did.

We are so glad that we found Jonathan with Holy City Canine. Soon after adopting Leo, a cattle dog and German Shepard mix, we found some unwanted behavioral issues. Leo is super smart so he had down the basic commands and potty trained within just a few days however some of his behaviors we had no idea how to train- that's when we began to look for professional help and we found Jonathan. Jonathan found that most of the bad behavior stemmed from no confidence / anxiety. Once Jonathan thought Leo he didnt have to be afraid of the world Leo changed into a whole new pup! We were so suprised with how much Leo calmed down , how quick Leo was to listen to us, how much more confident he was- such a postive transformation. Leo has been back home with us for about 6 months now and there are new unwanted behaviors that pop up every now and then but now we know the proper way to correct those behaviors thanks to Jonathan's training with Leo....and us.

Fig, our 1 year old mixed breed was a bit of a mess when she started Jonathan’s board and train program and 1 month later it’s like we have a whole new dog. She is quiet inside the house, she listens more outside the house and meal time is very quiet and more enjoyable for all of the dogs. We have only had her home for a few days but as long as we do our part reinforcing the skills Jonathan taught her I have no doubt that she will be an amazing companion for years to come. Jonathan trains to a standard not a hard and fast time period. When you pick up your pup he encourages you to reach out whenever you need to. He is invested in each and every pup he trains so he wants to ensure program success at home. This was the best decision I’ve made in a long time! I highly recommend!

Honestly, if you don't seriously consider HCC for your training needs you're missing out. John was the third trainer I have gone to for my Doberman puppy. All the trainers in South Carolina have been great but John and his team at HCC really take the cake! It was white glove treatment from start to finish. He set a great foundation and methodically introduced my puppy into real world situations to proof all the concepts and ensure the foundation was solid. After pick up, I was given as much time as I needed to feel comfortable with all the information and John was very patient and personable with his advice, tips, and instructions. From the moment I got home I could see my puppy hadn't been putting on a show for me at the pick-up. I tested each command John went over with me, and my puppy responded exactly as demonstrated at the training site. I can not recommend HCC enough! They are great folks with an awesome facility and they truly care about your dog being successful for the long-term. It ain't just lip service they practice what they preach.
