Just a top notch experience in every way. Barratt truly provides a great experience for both dog and owner throughout the entire process from start to finish. Helping to figure out how to get dogs across the country with the least amount of stress for both dog and customer, consistent and frequent updates/phone calls, in person training for you to explain how to give your dog the best opportunity to further develop and use all the skills he taught them and apply them in the field, etc. I couldn’t be happier with both the results in my dog and my experience throughout the process. Let me start by saying I’m new to pointing dogs. As someone new, getting a puppy and training it to be a member of the family and eventually a bird dog is overwhelming. The first time I reached out to Barratt for advice, he spent a half hour on the phone with me talking over all my questions. Then he wouldn’t even let me pay him. After we got done talking he suggested I come down and work dogs with him. Barratt went out of his way to show me dogs at different stages and helped me come up with a plan for mine.
