There’s a big difference between “pop” dog training (all the nonsense you see on social media and TV) vs learning the proper fundamentals that are going to set YOU, and your four legged friends, up for life.
Josh and the team at DogWorks are educators, not just people to try and “fix” your dog(s). They’re trying to set you up for the truest form of success, which is an awesome companionship with fido, where fido is truly feeling their best (not just nervously waiting for a treat).
10/10 recommend Houston Dog Works.

Best in the business! They don’t just train your dog, they give you the tools to allow you to train your dog. The freedom provided by the training concepts is profound. While it does require commitment to the training concepts and the homework expected, do your and your dog justice by setting the dog up for success in all aspects of life. It’s beyond enjoyable to be able to take your dog out in public and not worry about how they will react to all the environmental distractions or encounters with other dogs and humans. Can’t recommend Josh and his team at Houston DogWorks enough!

I attended a problem solving seminar today and was blown away with Josh and his crew! Ive been showing dogs on and off for 30 years and its rare to find someone who understands of how to train a dog AND how to teach people to train a dog. I will definitely be back!

We have been training at Houston DogWorks since our dog was a puppy and we are thrilled with the results. Not only does our dog learn valuable skills, we have learned how to be better handlers. I highly recommend Houston DogWorks for all your training needs!

Houston DogWorks is amazing, and works too. The owner has expectations of both the dog and the owner, and if you don’t work with your dog it won’t work. Since we started with here our dog has gone from bananas to manageable. Thank you for giving us the tools for success. I highly recommend this place they know what they’re doing!!
