We had our dog trained for several months with a hunting focus at another trainer but he was still very difficult to manage at home. We tried Houston Dog Works and have been very happy with the changes we are seeing in ours dog’s obedience and general demeanor. A big part of the changes we are seeing is due to Josh and Kennedy’s approach to training us the owners as much as it is the training of our dog. As first time sporting dog owners this “train the owner” was key.

Amazing trainer for dogs and people alike. Extremely knowledgeable people who do nothing but set people and dogs up to succeed. They will give you all the information you need to succeed in anything. They teach the foundations you need from pet dog to sport dog.

My dog Nova is COMPLETELY changed for the better. She had confidence issues and leash problems to start. After two sessions, her confidence completely turned around. And after a few months, she was much better on the leash. Today we are working on the off-leash curriculum and can’t wait to see her keep progressing. I strongly recommend all dog owners go through the program with Josh and Kennedy. They know their stuff!
