I wanted to personally thank you both for taking the time to leave such a detailed review about your experience with Cooper and our training program.<br><br>I’m so glad you got Cooper into training when you did. We were able to help make sure he could remain safely in your home while also giving you a very well-trained dog that you can truly enjoy.<br><br>I really appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us throughout this process. You guys have been amazing clients, and I know myself and the entire team have really enjoyed working with you.<br><br>I also want to give you both a lot of credit. Thomas, I’m genuinely devastated to hear that you feel this way about your experience with us. I was surprised to see this review because I was recently at your home working with you and Percy, and she was doing very well.<br><br>I’ve reached out to you personally since seeing this review because I want to help, but unfortunately, I have not received a response.<br><br>Our Board & Train program does the heavy lifting of training the dog, but it does not provide a robotic dog. There is still a human component. The people living with Percy have to be willing to learn how to work with her and consistently implement the training, or eventually that training will deteriorate.<br><br>During Percy’s integration lessons, we struggled to get meaningful participation from you. When I personally came to your home for a third lesson to provide additional support, your wife was not even in attendance. I completely understand that you are both extremely busy, but these lessons are specifically designed to teach you how to maintain the training after Percy comes home.<br><br>As one small example, one of your concerns is Percy urinating in the house. We specifically discussed managing her water intake rather than leaving a massive bowl of water available all day with unrestricted access. When I returned, that had not changed. These may seem like little things, but consistently implementing recommendations at home is a major part of achieving lasting results.<br><br>More importantly, the support has always been available. You can use your integration lessons. You can ask questions. You can attend our lifetime group classes. Throughout the Board & Train, you had a group chat directly with me and your trainer, Matthew, and we did not receive a single training question from you. Since completing the program, you have not signed up for a group class or reached out asking for additional help.<br><br>We can still help you. This does not have to be your experience. Percy has shown us that she is capable of doing extremely well. The training, resources, and lifetime support are here, but we need your participation for them to work.<br><br>I know you’re busy, and I know we’re the second training company you’ve been dissatisfied with. Please respond to my outreach and give us the opportunity to help you. I genuinely want you and Percy to have the same five-star experience and long-term success that so many of our other clients have had with Hunter Canine Dog Training.
