Upland Bird Dog Training/Boarding Began training pointing dogs, mostly setters, in the early 1980’s and continue to research various methodologies. Birds make bird dogs, and we have the birds, equipment, and acreage required to complete the process. Using a training method I call, "Experiential Methodology", training you and your upland dog using our space, birds, and equipment - You Become the Expert! Boarding? You are provided with daily progress and evaluation documents as well as photos. Nothing is hidden or left to chance. So, whether you need help with your dog or written descriptions of outdoor products or adventures - call on us! At Hutson Heritage, LLC - I train gun dogs; one step at a time, each step to the last.

Lovely time teaching my 2 year old silver lab, Nova. Lots of groundwork with basic commands like sit and stay as well as working with homing pigeons. Nova had a positive experience and Jack makes sure that the owner works with the dog and can give the commands correctly.

Jack is absolutely amazing with his training. We brought our 11month GSP to him. What he has accomplished in 6 days with her was beyond our expectation. Jack can walk away from her and she stays in still. He worked with commands and introduced her to birds. Jacks communication with evaluations every day and videos sent has helped us realize what we need to continue to do with our GSP at our house. We will definitely be bringing our GSP back to Jack for more training. We are so thankful we found Jack. We highly recommend him.

My puppy and I can’t wait to go see Jack every week!
Jack was recommended by a friend, I’ve been working my dog with Jack for three weeks, he is patient but firm in his training. Jack is very knowledgeable and brings out the best in both the dog and owner.I see great strides in Gauges performances . You can tell right off Jack loves dogs, especially the hunting breeds. I highly recommend him, if you want a well mannered hunting dog.
