Upland Bird Dog Training/Boarding Began training pointing dogs, mostly setters, in the early 1980’s and continue to research various methodologies. Birds make bird dogs, and we have the birds, equipment, and acreage required to complete the process. Using a training method I call, "Experiential Methodology", training you and your upland dog using our space, birds, and equipment - You Become the Expert! Boarding? You are provided with daily progress and evaluation documents as well as photos. Nothing is hidden or left to chance. So, whether you need help with your dog or written descriptions of outdoor products or adventures - call on us! At Hutson Heritage, LLC - I train gun dogs; one step at a time, each step to the last.

I can’t speak highly enough about Jack and Hutson Heritage. Our Setter, Quinn is well on her way to being the hunting and family companion of our dreams. I left Jack’s property with the tools to succeed with her as well as his continuing support.
Jack Hutson at Hutson Heritage is a fine trainer and great individual. He helped me learn to work with my youngest setter to keep her engaged in training and steady on point. Jack's facility is perfect for upland and waterfowl work, and his patient coaching is well-received by both dog and handler.
Being new to Pointers, I reached out to Jack at Hutson Heritage for some help with my new GSP pup - they have been instrumental in transforming both myself as well as my dog into a great hunting pair. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dog trainer and or kennel for your upland game dog. Utmost professional organization!!
