I can't express how great they are. I recommend them to everyone0 whether you need help getting started with a new puppy, want enrichment with your dog or have some naughty behaviors you need to tweak- they can do all of it. They use fear free and positive reinforcement and they're just great

As a 2021 update to this review, we now have been training with Impetus, Veronica and Vivian for over 4 years. During that time 3 of our dogs did Nosework, 2 obtained their ORT certification and one got her NW1 Title. I do Bearded Collie Rescue and a few years ago we had a young Beardie who had behavioral problems and we had to consider the possibility of putting her to sleep. I contacted Veronica and she worked with us via private training to address the dog's behavioral issues and I am happy to say she is safe and happy in a loving home. Sadly we have lost two of our three original pack and now have a4-month old puppy who will start Nosework next week. Veronica and Vivian are our support net, helping with all dog-related issues. I highly recommend them for positive, no-fear training. We have been training weekly with Veronica Selco for 2 1/2 years! We have two older dogs; and one who is very reactive to other dogs, so it was a blessing to find Impetus and great Nosework Classes that allow our pups to have fun, be stimulated, challenged, and receive nothing but positive feedback! In addition, we turned to Veronica with a rescue dog we were fostering who had behavioral issues. She worked hand-in-hand with us to evaluate her needs and begin a positive training program that resulted in her finding her perfect home. It’s a family at Impetus, not just a training facility and they offer a myriad of programs. Join in! Your pets will love it and you will become part of a great community of caring and knowledgeable trainers and friends. It’s a great place with wonderful programs that will enrich your lives as well as your pet’s! Updated Review September 2021
