In Home Dog Training

RD is the RealDeal. No joke. She is not prentencious or bossy and she really gets how the canine brain works. We adopted a pit mix from a great organization - One Tail at a Time. They help promising pets who are in kill shelters and horrid situations. They have foster volunteers and then adopt out these animals. RD works with them and that is how we came to know her. RD had worked with our girl and when we took her in she began exhibiting some new stressors - toward other dogs on leash, getting over whelmed by a lot noise and severe crate / separation aversion. We thought No!! But through work with RD we realized her problem - was us! Totally!! All of our previous dog baggage was clearly subconsciously present. Wow!! RD gave us a new perspective on how to Approach our new family member and showed Us some insanely useful tips to assure future success. It's really amazing to see someone work when they truly have a gift.

We have nothing but good things to say about RD. She was communicative, friendly, and is really good at her job. She is a dog whisperer in my opinion! Hazel is reactive to other doggos and also needed to work on basic leash skills, and she made loads of progress in just one visit and RD took the time to answer all our questions during all our training sessions and was very patient and professional with our pup and us. I highly recommend her.

RD is a wonderful trainer....she simply "gets" dogs...and uses her understanding of their behaviors to work effectively with them. I have seen her do amazing things with assertive dogs, shy dogs, and very exuberant dogs (like mine)..... she is firm and consistent but very compassionate!! She also did a great job working with me, the owner...let's face it, the dog owners are really the ones who need the training! I highly recommend In Home Dog Training and Rehabilitation for dogs AND their owners!
