Kat has done wonderful work with our anxious rescue. Since we got her, Lacey has had some fear aggression and guarding behavior. It had settled down a bit after having her for several years, but amped up again when we moved to PA. Over the years, we’ve used a couple of different trainers (in combination with meds), and Kat is BY FAR the best one we’ve worked with. She really knows her stuff. The biggest difference we’ve seen between her and other trainers we’ve worked with in the past is how good she is at problem solving and individualizing her treatment plan based on our priorities and Lacey’s responses/cues. She’s also great at explaining to us why Lacey responds the way she does to different stimuli. We recommend her without reservation.

Kathryn has just been amazing in helping our middle school daughter train her first puppy!! Kathryn’s experience, compassion and incredible understanding of canine behavioral issues and psychology is without peer. We are so fortunate to have met her and be the beneficiaries of her outstanding training techniques, and are grateful to her for all of her kindness and help as we train our new Caviler King Charles Spaniel!

I hired Kat to help me out with our strong willed Goldendoodle that runs if she gets loose. While I never let her loose, a few accidents occurred while workers were at our house. Kat has been working with our Goldendoodle for 8 sessions now and I couldn’t be happier. She truly has been able to modify our dogs behavior and reduce her triggers. I am amazed at her knowledge of dog language/communication. I never dreamed our dog could walk unleashed next to me without bolting and Kathryn accomplished that I’m just a few short months. I know there is a lot of dog trainers out there, a few I have even used, but Kathryn is a true dog behaviorist, understanding the uniqueness of each animal she works with. She does a great job communicating with me what my dog is thinking and how I need to respond effectively. Without hesitation she’s simply the best!

Kathryn is truly one of the most gifted dog trainers i have worked with. After 3 failed attempts with other trainers for our GSD, we were lucky enough to meet Kathryn. Instantly she was able to connect with Teo and more importantly give me the skills i needed to work with a 90 lb GSD. She is completely professional and also amazing kind and fun to work with. She loves dogs and they respond so well to her. Again, more importantly, she helps me understand how to work with my dog. We have recently starting working with Kathryn again for our new dog Max and in less than 2 sessions, i have been able to have a "crazy on leash" dog, become a calm walker. Kathryn follows up to see how things are going and she even ordered a collar for us. She's one in a million. Any dog owner who is lucky enough to meet and work with Kathryn will know how special she is.
